New Playground Helps to Improve Local Community

This past weekend, residents of our Idyll Whyle Village community gathered along with McKean Township representatives for a festive ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a brand new community playground. The afternoon was filled with summertime treats provided by a local ice cream truck and hot dog vendor. The playground, which was paid for with about $140,000 in Community Development Block Grant money will be open to the public as well as residents of Idyll Whyle Village.

“We consider it an investment into the youth, the township and also into our small community,” says Jared Surnamer, President of Valley Community Management.
